Good hotel with excellent wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me find a better taxi during my first stay. Highly recommend trying the activities offered. I'm coming back for a weekend!

Had a decent pool and variety at buffet
Restaurant was too crowded and appeared to be a meeting place for local residents… All rooms had connecting doors and walls were not sound proof - we could hear the television from next doors till late at night. We had specifically asked for a double room with a king size bed as we were travelling with our 4 year old daughter and we were shown to a room where 2 single beds were placed together to make a double bed. When I complained and insisted I was told all rooms are the same and they dont really have rooms with king size beds. I found this extremely unfair - why would the hotel accept our booking when they clearly couldnt cater to our needs. We were later moved to another room where they said we could have a double bed but after moving there with our luggage it was same situation…2 single beds with a double bed mattress.

Lovely location. Nice pool area. Good buffet breakfast. Good sized room
Staff not always aware of cost for children for evening buffet. Triple room had 3 single beds - as family would have preferred a double and a single. Out of city location meant it was dificult to find hotel - there were signs coming out of Kandy but they were a bit hit and miss

Amazing food & chill vibes
Wow, what a stay! The staff were super friendly. I loved the river view from our balcony-perfect for mornings with coffee. Plus, the in-room breakfast was great, seriously delicious. The only bummer was the gym being out of power, which kinda sucked when I wanted to work out. Can't wait to come back!

Nice lake view
Poor bathrooms, clogged sink and tubs, daily problem of ants. We wanted to reduce the stay but had booked online so they charged us full price instead of giving us a break. Very few restaurants, too far from city and in room dining closed at 10 :(

The welcome tamarind drink upon arrival hit the spot. A refreshing touch that set a positive tone. The room had a fantastic balcony with a river view that was perfect for enjoying the sounds of nature and relaxing after a long day.
The narrow, winding roads leading to the hotel posed a driving challenge, especially with limited ride-sharing options available. The pool can be quite chilly and it's not heated, so if you're expecting a warm dip, set your expectations low. The access corridors to the rooms felt a bit dowdy, lacking any uplifting decor that would match the serene feel of the rooms themselves. My sleep was disturbed by rowdy guests above my room during the night, tough when needing a restful experience. Finally, the food did not quite match the quality I've come to expect from other hotels in the same chain, a letdown.

just pool nothing else
when i checked into the hotel i was given a room with a strange smell. after a lot of effort i was able to change my room. the hotel is no where close to what it looks like in the pics on the web. it is far from the city centre and the blue river water shown in the pics is indeed quiet muddy. the pool is good. restaurants close quiet early and there is not much to do at the hotel after 9pm. their accounting methodology for bill is also quiet different from the rest of the world i.e. they levy tax on tax.
